Center for Foreign Languages organizes preparatory courses for the purpose of taking the TOEFL and IELTS exams.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is an English exam that checks the level of English proficiency of those speakers for whom English is not their mother tongue. Taking this exam is a prerequisite for admission to most American colleges and universities, as well as many programs to provide scholarships include the TOEFL exam. This is, therefore, the exam that tests the candidate’s ability to follow instruction and participate in all aspects of student life in the English language. Colleges in the United States alone determine the number of points required for entry, and the average number of points required a high level of English proficiency and uniform management of all language skills.

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam is designed to enable the assessment of language ability of candidates who want to study or work in environments in which the English language is the official language of communication. Test is a joint project of Cambridge ESOL, British Council and IDP Education Australia: IELTS Australia. Designed in accordance with the highest international standards for the evaluation of English and tests all four language skills: understanding the completion of the text ( Listening ), understanding of read text ( Reading ), written expression ( Writing ), oral expression ( Speaking ). Universities and employers in many countries, including the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States, recognize IELTS as proof of English language proficiency level. The test is accepted by various professional bodies, immigration authorities and other government agencies.
